The Ehsaas Nashonuma program has started to support pregnant women and their children with proper nutrition. The Prime Minister of Pakistan launched this program to provide financial assistance to women before and after childbirth, promoting healthy child growth.

8171 Ehsaas Nashonuma Program Registration Procedure
Eligible individuals must enroll via their local Nashonuma Facilitation Centre (FC). Using the CNIC number of the beneficiary, the system will verify his/her status using the Nashonuma Android App. During enrollment, the following documents will be verified:
- Pregnant Women: Pregnancy test conducted & TT vaccination status verified on EPI card (second trimester).
- Lactating Mothers: Infant/B-form issued & vaccination status verified on EPI card.
- Children (6-23 months): B-form and vaccination confirmation on the EPI card.
If proof of pregnancy, lactation, or child age (0-23 months) is not provided, individuals will be directed to the registration counter to be marked as ineligible.
Eligibility for Benazir Kafaalat
The government has set eligibility criteria for this program as follows:
- Lactating women are eligible to register
- Pregnant women requiring support and hygiene during various stages of pregnancy can apply
- And infants up to 23 months are eligible.
- However, pregnant women with a weight-related condition that may hinder healthy fetal development are not eligible.
- Additionally, persons with disabilities can apply online through the 8171 web portal and receive a stipend of 2000 rupees.

The government was changed and PM Shehbaz Sharif renamed this program to Benazir Nashonuma and made some changes. Now 2000 rupees for male children and 2500 rupees for female children will be provided under this program.
